During the interview
Speak clearly and slowly
Adopt an alert, open posture
Listen carefully to the interviewer
Look at the interviewer when talking, the eye contact is important
Be prepared to elaborate on whatever the interviewer shows interest in, but without waffling!
Highlight the positive aspects and play down the negative ones
Seek clarification in case you do not understand
Do not give just Yes or No answers , but avoid giving speeches. The best thing is keeping your answers concise and to the point.
Be enthusiastic and be yourself
Do not ask anything you could have found by your own : about the company information you can find on their web site, for example.
Be sure you know what comes next : when they will contact you back, if there is a second interview and all details concerning the selection process.
